What is The Sentinel Hill Estates?
The Sentinel Hill Estates is an exploratory neighbourhood initiative bringing property owners together to better understand the potential of their properties and whether collaboration between neighbours could create additional opportunities.
Is there already a development planned?
No. There is currently no predetermined development plan. The initiative is about gathering information, speaking with homeowners and determining whether there is sufficient interest to explore possibilities together.
Do I have to sell my property?
No. Participation does not require you to sell your property or commit to any future transaction.
Why involve neighbouring properties?
Considering multiple neighbouring properties together may create different opportunities than considering each property individually. The purpose of the initiative is to determine whether there could be value in exploring those possibilities collectively.
What happens if there is enough interest?
The proposed process begins with individual homeowner discussions, followed by a broader neighbourhood meeting. If there is sufficient interest, the next stage would be to explore a potential coordinated proposal.
Is participation confidential?
Initial conversations with homeowners can be held privately and confidentially.
Is this affiliated with the District of West Vancouver?
No. The Sentinel Hill Estates is a private initiative and is not a District of West Vancouver program or approved development proposal.
